Transfer on death deeds

Did you know that you can automatically transfer title to Virginia real estate and avoid probate by doing a transfer on death deed?  Joint ownership is not required.  You retain all ownership rights and the right to revoke the instrument during your lifetime, but when you die title passes directly to the person designated in the deed.  A transfer on death deed may be a very useful estate planning tool.
