Profile: T. Andrew Lingle
I began practicing law in 1992 with a firm specializing in civil and criminal trial work. I gained valuable courtroom experience and began to work with business owners involved in litigation. When I formed my own practice in 1994 I continued to handle litigation while moving toward an emphasis on business transactions. I purchased a title insurance agency in 1998 and began handling real estate transactions. My experience as a young lawyer allowed me to develop a strong background in many areas of the law. However, since 2000 I have narrowed the focus of my practice to concentrate on representing business and real estate clients.
My clients include restaurants, retailers, medical professionals, manufacturing companies, contractors, developers, real estate investors, and landlords. My business law practice involves forming new businesses entities, handling all aspects of business acquisitions and sales, commercial leasing and general business consulting. I am very experienced with Small Business Administration loan closings as well as traditional commercial financing for business acquisitions. We also serve as registered agent for almost 600 business entities and provide a wide range of general legal services to business clients. My business law practice compliments the real estate side of my practice. I represent buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate, and I represent real estate investors who use various methods to buy, finance, manage, rehabilitate, lease, market and sell real estate. We provide comprehensive real estate closing services, and together with our affiliated title insurance agency we are set up to handle all aspects of real estate transactions quickly and efficiently.
Outside the office you will usually find me spending time with our 3 children, watching baseball games, playing golf, canoeing, or spending time at the Outer Banks.
